Thailand Elite Visa Facts

  1. There are 4 membership levels: 5 years (Gold), 10 years (Platinum), 15 years (Diamond) and 20 years (Reserve) membership.
  2. Elite Visa cost: Gold = THB900,000, Platinum = THB1,500,000, Diamond = THB2,500,000, Reserve = THB5,000,000
  3. You will get a 5-year multiple-entry tourist visa and depending on your membership level, you can renew for another 5 years for the duration of your membership, i.e. if you have the 15 year Diamond membership you can renew the 5-year visa 2 times.
  4. Express airport immigration & customs – use the Fast Track when arriving in Thailand on international flights. No need to wait in long queues.
  5. Immigration service for 90-day reports
  6. Immigration service for 5-year visa renewals (when holding Platinum membership or higher)
  7. Special discounts.
  8. There is no age or income requirement, as long as you can pay for the membership level you are applying for.

Thailand Elite Visa Myths

  1. You can get a work permit in Thailand – The Elite Visa in and of itself does not allow you to get a work permit because it is a tourist visa. However, there are legal workarounds. If you need assistance with this, please contact us below.
  2. Exempt from income tax – The Elite Visa does not provide tax exemptions. If an individual resides in Thailand more than 180 days in a calendar year, that individual is tax resident for tax purposes. Please check with a tax professional for your own unique situation.
  3. The Elite Visa makes you a Thai resident – The Elite Visa is a long-term tourist visa with perks. It does not confer any Thai resident privileges other than the privilege to come and go from Thailand as you please and remain in Thailand for as long as your visa is valid.
